So today I finally realized that I am currently doing too many "odd jobs" to actually apply for a full time job. I babysit nearly weekly for old friends, I work with Little Lamb on occasion. And I'm a sub for the public schools in my area. My weeks are severely random and obnoxious at times! I feel upset at myself sometimes, because I do want to do the other jobs, but at the same time I need something stable so that I can move out ASAP.
Tonight I got an email. Several days ago I got desperate and put my general cover letter on Craigslist. Yes laugh at me. The next day I had a letter from someone. WOW. Unfortunately it was far from me (past Herndon, I remember that much). Tonight I just got another one. This one is in Alexandria, which is MUCH better for me. AND it's working with young kids - not teaching yet, but definitely kid oriented:) Thank you God for answering prayers!
I'm hoping to email the person back in the morning and let them know the general idea of what I'm looking for (summer job) and if they'd still want me:) I'm excited though!!!
