Haven't posted here in a while....this isn't an update, just an event:) Keep in mind throughout this that I moved out of my family's place and am living with 2 wonderful ladies and 2 funny little dogs....
So, Sean called me around 7pm (while I was at Fitz's for the pool party) to let me know he was just leaving NY to come back down to VA. I let him talk to Meme, our Bible Study leader, then I got on to say goodbye and hung up.
I called him on my way home to check and see how he was. He sadly got stuck in gridlock traffic for an hour or more. I wished him a goodnight and to text or call me when he reached his destination.
3:15ish comes along and I wake up, wide awake. I have this strong desire to go get water...probably because I have stuff in my throat and I'm fearful of getting sick....but my body refuses to get out of the bed. 10 or 15 minutes later, I win and go get my glass of water, being careful not to wake the sleeping dogs...wherever they were.
As I get back to my room and put my cup on the nightstand, my phone rings. Sean's calling to let me know he's in Northern VA. I get into bed as I'm talking to him...until he says that "wow, this is a big house." Then he starts talking about my car. I freak out :P
He was outside my house at 3:30 in the morning!
I told him that because of the bells on the front door and the garage protecting the side door and who knows what in the back yard, I couldn't go out to say hi. So I opened my bedroom door and waved to him through one of the glass panels on the sides of the front door. He eventually went back to his moving truck and drove to my parents' house to spend the night.
This has to be one of the most spontaneous things he's ever done. Wow :)
