So it's April 1st and it's about time I update this!!! I need to motivate myself to do more to this blog, but currently my time keeps getting swamped with wedding prep!
Yep, less than 40 days till my beloved and I are one in Christ:) I am soooo excited to begin this next chapter of our lives! I realize that I should be cherishing this engagement period, and I am, but sometimes I'm happy that this is temporary chaos!!
There are many things left to do, but I've been delegating (finally) and things are coming together! My mom is doing the reception - catering, cake (with my imput), decor. My mother in law (I don't feel cheesy enough to say "in love" hehe) is doing the rehearsal dinner. Sean's been SUCH a blessing, getting things done on his days off and pushing me to get stuff done, too!! On Tuesday, Sean and I went to the courthouse and got our marriage license:D
I still need to talk with a few florists, but I have my flowers and design in mind, which will help. Sean and I are still discussing the wedding party - keep it small, add friends, etc. Honestly, I might have to pull a list together of what I've bought and when it'll be used (Wedding, Reception, Getaway!) so I know what's left to get!
My mom is coming into town about a week before my wedding to help me with final prep...ahh she's coming this month!!! Holy cow! Suppose I should get a move on, huh? :D
