Homemade Kettle Corn

I found a recipe online for homemade kettle corn over a month ago, but haven't had the time to try it out until now. It was really good - a tad sweet for me, but Sean liked it and helped me finish off the whole bowl! It was a wonderful, simple Christmas treat for the both of us after so much stocking candy!

Homemade Kettle Corn
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup popcorn kernels

Heat the oil in a (LARGE) pot. Add kernels and sugar, stirring to mix and coat the kernels evenly. Cover and let the oil heat up more until the popcorn starts popping. Shake the pot, leaving the lid on, as the popcorn pops. When it stops popping for more than 4 or 5 seconds, dump the popcorn into a bowl. Salt to taste and enjoy!
