Between my first and second set of summer courses, Sean was able to help me bring back stuff from school to home. Reward? We went to DC on Friday:-) It was quite fun wandering around and seeing many of the sights. In the picture he's calling his mom to let her know where he was. Definitely a great time - hopefully we'll get to do it again sometime!!
This is Miss Lauren. She's a sweetheart that my mom and I watched this summer. She's definitely one of the biggest things I'll miss while I'm back at school!!
This is one of the families I babysat for. They were 4 1/2 and 6 1/2 I believe. Cute kids, very very energetic. I watched them from 6:50 until whenever their mom or dad or got home from work. We made cookies one day, muffins another, even easter eggs!!
For my Geography class, we had an ethnic food night. I contacted Sean and asked him for a recipe. His mom was so sweet and sent me a Czech cookie recipe. DELICOUSNESS!!! My classmates loved it, but I brought home a few leftovers to my starving brothers;-) Excellent recipe!
Last night I babysat for this family. The girls are definite darlings, but true fireballs! We took a long (1 1/2 hour) walk around the neighborhood and into part of a nature park near their home. They LOVE to catch bugs:-) The older of the two caught 2 dragonflies and a moth - you go girl!
Annnnd now it's time to finish up a bit more packing. 6 days left until I arrive back on campus:-)
