First off, today is my cousin Lauren's first birthday today!! (At least I'm 99.99999% positive:-) ) I've only met her once, but she is an adorable, babbling young lady that's just excited to see everything around her!
Summer is almost over!:-( In 2 1/2 weeks I will be driving to the elementary school in Amherst County, VA to meet the 2nd grade teacher I will start off the semester with. I'm excited and anxious for it to start, but at the same time I'm scared that I won't be good enough. Most of my friends in the EDUC department at school were either close friends with their old teachers or had parents/close relatives as teachers that gave them info and stuff to work with. Me, I'm starting from scratch. I was homeschooled from K through 11th grade, graduated early, and took 4 years of college to get to my 1/2 year of student teaching. I'm praying that God will give me wisdom where I have not had the opportunity to learn from others:-)
In other news, my darling friend Tiffany is here for a few days!!!! She showed up on Wednesday and we've been running everywhere ever since. Except this morning, where we both have our laptops out and she's finishing an essay while I catch up with blogs I read.
I got a 97 on my BIBL midterm - YAY! But right now I have an incompletion grade for my question from my book because I had the wrong book:-( AHHHHH!!! So, I now have 1 week left to finish those questions AND the other questions for the second half of the summer semester. At least I found someone on LU Bay (yes, fun name isn't it?:-P) that was selling the book and shipping for half the cost of what the book itself costs - YAY! So now we play the waiting game - once my book shows up, I'll be able to continue with my work and finish BIBL:-)
Alright, time to play with Tiffany's camera - its not working right and we still have 2-3 days of our lives together to document before she heads back to VA Beach:-(
