Week 1

This is the end of the first week of Sean and I living (together but separately) at my parent's house. It's been a rough week, definitely had some huge downers, but it's panned out to be alright. I haven't heard back from any teaching positions. Actually the only email I got back about a regular job was a scam...go me :P I did, however, get a few babysitting jobs for this weekend and scattered through the month. I like babysitting - don't have to worry about daycare admin, you don't have to follow any schedule with the kids except meals, and you can feel free to wander the building without telling someone where you're going :)

Yesterday I babysat 2 sweethearts that I've known for at least 5 1/2 years, maybe 7? The girls are growing up so fast! Now 8 and 6, they still share that same love of exploring that they did when they were little! I about cried when I got there yesterday and the bigger one hugged me and said "You came back from college! I missed you so much, Miss Becca!" :)

The little explorers. We went to a park area for 2 hours looking for shells and biking through the woods!

Today I'm babysitting twice. Same family later tonight, but in the morning I'm watching another set of girls that I haven't seen in a while. The older sister has Downs Syndrome and likes to talk AND sign with me:) Hopefully the younger one will remember me! I haven't been there in a year or more!

For anyone that reads this, please pray that I find a job soon. I would love to move out of my parent's house by the end of the month (unrealistic goal, my life is filled with them) on a full time job that I might not love love love, but I'll enjoy doing:)
