Actually it's been here for quite some time, but I haven't had the time/energy to post since the 9th. Holy cow:)
I am LOVING my job at the daycare. It's truly a joy to see 20 kids learning and playing together in this kind of atmosphere. Sometimes there are rough patches, but then we have outside time and naptime - basically moments where us teachers can sit back and breathe, if only for 5 minutes:) My co-teacher is amazing. She has tons of ideas that she wants to implement into the classroom. I'm here to help execute them AND help her keep her sanity. Haha, I've even put a Yankee Fall Candle up in one of our cupboards so that whenever either of us are seriously stressed, we just smell it for a few seconds and go on with our day a bit more relaxed!
Things with Sean are going amazing as well. Initially when he moved nearby, I was all gun-ho about getting together as often as possible. Part of me learned, however, that he needs some time on his own too, so we've been working on finding a good balance. We're trying for a once a week date - usually Friday, since our paychecks come then:P - and then the other nights we're free just relaxing watching a movie or Farscape:) I'm really praying that God guides us in the right direction, and I think so far we're staying on track with Him, because there's a peace about our relationship that I can't quite explain. Yay, God! :)
I'm starting up knitting again. Some might be for Christmas gifts, but most are just to experiment. I have sadly lost (during the transit of moving home and moving to Fairfax) my 1/4th completed black scarf that had an amazing cable pattern on it. Okay, simple pattern, but it was amazing to me;P I went to Walmart last weekend and bought some needles to replace the ones the partly-created scarf was attached to, but I had black yarn. I won't do a complete replicate, but I'd like to start doing something similar. So far, 1 knitted, 1 crocheted, and I put 2 more scarves on the needles at 11:30 last night:P Should be a great winter!
Alright, time to pack my lunch and take some drugs so that I survive today:) We have a mandatory meeting after work tonight, so I won't be home before 8:30. Lovely! As long as it doesn't make me sick....that's the kids' job ;)
