Day of Rest, eh?

So somehow I always seem to jam-pack my Sundays. Not my Saturdays...those I try to sleep in, not worry about work or anything else. Since Sean works nights Wed night through Sun morning and sleeps during the days, I don't plan on doing more than maybe seeing him before he leaves for work around 4:45 on Sat night.

Today was a lot of stuff!

Sean and I were going to go to 8:30a service and then hang out, let me practice with the Nikon he gave me *squeal* and whatever else we felt like doing on our only mutual day off. Too bad things never go according to plan :P

First off, it was rainy. I saw that when I got up and realized that we couldn't go take pictures out in that kind of weather. Oh well, I thought, and showered. I got out and called Sean. No answer. I finished getting ready and tried calling him when I was driving towards church. Nope. Drats, methinks, his phone is dead.

I sat through church, coughing and hacking now and then. No peace passed to me today....don't worry, it was totally at my request! I'm hoping my precious students didn't send me home with anything too troublesome! Anyway, after church I hung out for a while at Walgreens, went over and got some warm bagel and Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks while reading one of Bill Bryson's books.

After 11, I drove to TJ Maxx and found a wine rack for Sean. I went to his house, but he still wasn't awake. At least his car was there so I knew he had made it home safely :) I went back home, making a detour at CVS to pick up a box to make a care package later.

I saw The Tale of Despereaux! After reading the book the previous week, I can definitely say I was fairly disappointed. No scene in the movie matched exactly to the book. The beginning was off, the characters were each tweaked to fit the movie...it was cute, but I was burning with frustration over the fact that it hadn't been as adorable as the book. *Sigh* Oh well, it was a good way to spend some time :)

I went and picked up Turbo Tax - yippee! I'm fairly certain this year will be painful, as I had over 5 jobs last year alone. Gah! Oh well, at least I'll be able to get started on it soon....after Sean or I reformat my lg laptop:)

After getting some Wendys' I finally got ahold of Sean. We hung out for a bit at his place while he woke up, but once he was ready to go, we headed out to the stores. We ran over to Penn Camera to see if they had a camera strap he wanted for his new Nikon. Then we made a detour to World Market....oooh if only we could register there without feeling loads of guilt! So much beautiful stuff there that he and I agree on! Sheesh! We can't even do that in Bed Bath and Beyond!! Anyway.....

Later we went and met up with Cortney to knit, and a friend of hers stopped in and basically talked computer/tech/camera shop talk with Sean while we knitted the beginning of scarves! We were at Caribou until they closed! Great times:) Sean and I went over to Chipolte afterwards and got some late dinner before heading back to his house.

Sean actually asked ME if HE could do some wedding work to help me out! God's blessed me with a rare gem - back off ladies, he's mine:) I'm so excited to plan this special day with my beloved and prepare for the rest of my lifetime with him! We still have many many details to go, but friends and family alike have offered help, advice, and other blessings:)
