SUNDAY
I had a marvelous day with Sean...he got up, I slept in a little. When I woke up, my man had done the rest of the laundry! And pretty much finished cleaning the rest of our apartment :-)
We were debating going to DC or mini golf, something low-key. Unfortunately the clouds were terrible-looking, so we stayed home and relaxed. We went to the Alive at 5 worship service at church and got to talk to Alison, Mere, and Dan for a little while. We went home and started watching Mystery Science Theater 3000 while I planned out my grocery shopping. Grocery shopping together was...interesting, especially after being used to doing it on my own in about 30 minutes :-) But it was definitely a growing experience! We relaxed for the rest of the evening - I went to bed, Sean stayed up to keep to his night schedule :-(
MONDAY
Our 4 year anniversary of dating!! Can't believe it's been that long! I remember sitting with him on a bench near his dorm laughing at his roommates and my roommates' comments about how we talk so much, we should just date. That's where, between my classes of the day, he asked me out...5 days after meeting him. Such a thrilling fiasco ;-)
Unfortunately for our anniversary, Sean had to sleep, I had to work, and when I returned home, Sean was already at work. I made myself a PB&J and watched some House/Law and Order (CI). We got to talk, but we only saw each other for part of the morning, and both of us weren't conscious at the same time!!
TUESDAY
Sean convinced me to go jogging with him before work. Painful at first, but my lungs finally remembered the feel...yes! It was a good 30 minutes of walking and jogging together. Apparently one of my students lives somewhere along our route - his mom let me know she saw me, haha :-)
Work went well...it was chilly! Mark it down, people - it was 68 degrees when I got to work at 9:30 that morning! A welcome change, but still cold! Water day was canceled, and even though the kids were initially sad, no one wanted to get wet with that kind of temperature!!
The kids had a great day; me too, actually. Found out some gossip at work...I need to find a way to start avoiding it. Now I know why God doesn't like it :-/ Anyway, I'm hoping this week to find out the kids that will be on my roster this coming school year, yay!
WEDNESDAY
This morning, I was going to make some food for Sean's dinner, but then remembered he's having dinner with ME tonight. Yay! Maybe some spaghetti with sausage sauce, yum!
Unfortunately I woke up at 6:58 (my first alarm) and couldn't really get back to sleep for more than 2 or 3 minutes at a time, yuck! So I stayed up. Sean usually comes home around 7:30, so I unbolted the door and got on my computer. 8am shows up and he's not here, so I call. 8:15 I decide to hop in the shower quickly in case he comes home soon. 8:20 I'm out of the shower, hair done, dressed, ready to go (minus socks, I now note....). Still no Sean, so I texted him asking if he was okay. Apparently he got stuck doing something at work....*whew* I always fear the worst when he's not home on time, so I'm glad I'm wrong :-)
I'm trying to finish as many books as I can possibly enjoy before the end of fall! I have a short list of ones that I've completed since May/Juneish, so I'm trying to add to that with the time I have left to the summer - less than 2 weeks?! Where'd it all go? At least this means my birthday is coming soon :D
