June already?

I feel like winter and spring passed by far too fast. This past week reminded me of the summertime to come; we had 3-4 days of hot and humid days, several passing the 105 degree heat index. Say what??? Thankfully, the last 4 have been very pleasant and I just barely had to turn on the AC again tonight.

Sean and I had our first anniversary! That's a bit too long for the same post, so I'll add it later:)

My students are graduating this Friday! Holy cow! And another week after that and the Spring curriculum will end. *Sniff* Babies growing up! My coworker and I are having lots of fun planning this year...hoping for a tear-jerking, laughable 30 minute graduation with all 22 of our kids. Several have left and several have come, but we love each one of them so much, it'll be hard to go through with this:( Ah well, life must go on, right?

I've been trying to do some reading. My book list includes "Trinity," "Captivating," and "Experiencing God," all nonfic. I feel like I'm not growing in my faith as I should, so I'm trying to dig into more than just His Word and make myself question more things so that I will LISTEN more to Him and learn from HIM:) Anyone else reading a good book lately?

Alright, my dinners for the next...few days? week? month? have finally cooled off. I finished cookies for my awesome old roommate. I am just over halfway through Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring. It is now nearly 2am and I have work tomorrow. I'm itching to tell you about my anniversary weekend. Plenty of reasons to stop now and get some rest :) Goodnight world - anniversary post next!
