So sadly I'm not the best when it comes to planning AND following through when it comes to dinner. Sean's home half of the nights in a week, but he needs dinner each of those nights - and the nights he works, I have to make dinner the night before (or before I head to work in the morning, which sucks) so he can eat too, lol! I tried last week to make a dinner plan, but it failed terribly. I'm also trying to cut down on the amount of times I go to the grocery store. At first, I thought it was glamorous to go to work as a married woman haha. Unfortunately, that's getting old fast!!
Here's my newest idea: I looked through my cabinets and bought things to complete meals we've had or could have. I'm going to make a list below of some of our favorites that I have ingredients for. Here's hoping I can stretch this for 2 weeks!
- Shortcut Beef Stew
- Pizza
- Chicken & Rice
- Baked Potatoes
- Cincinatti Turkey Chili
- Barbie's Casserole
- Best Macaroni & Cheese
- Homemade Shake N Bake (still determining the recipe...)
- Meatloaf (Still have to convince Sean first...)
- Beef Stroganoff (debating this one still...)
