Week 2 Begins

I LOVE this job! There are 15-17 infants in the department at the daycare I am currently situated in. I believe the smallest one, Tia, is nearly 3 months old *giggles* I love baby fingers and toes and coos....though I don't like their puke still:P We have to wear our t-shirts with the daycare logo and name on them every day, so I've been doing laundry nonstop this past week! At least things always come out of the clothes:)

Sean is still in job hunt mode, though not very serious. I can't talk about it too much or I'll get very frustrated and won't go to bed till 2:P He's still looking for a car - long story short, his was in an accident, got little damage, but hood is curled in and muffler fell off just before our Christmas break, now the speedometer isn't working - but is very picky :( I'm praying that God just hits him with something:)

I'm still working on making myself a budget. I got paid on Friday - apparently their system is Fri-Thur for 2 weeks, so I just got the tail end of it! With this lovely paycheck I bought over 60$ in groceries. Yes, over 60. Much of this, if not all, was very healthy foods that I split between Sean and myself. We both need to eat healthier, and while it hurts my paycheck, it'll help us start getting on track with what we eat. I got brown rice, wheat pasta, lean ground turkey, lard-free cornmeal for cornbread, yogurts (mmm my stomach's growling now!), applesauce (in individual containers so we can portion things out better), special k cereal, mixed fruit cups, sugar free (?) jello pudding for Sean, extraordinarily healthy breakfast bars, a few veggies, and more. It was well worth it:P

Alright, time for reading before bed:) I've been reading Psalms, Proverbs, and Job - interesting combo, but God seems to always show me a verse that corresponds with what's been on my heart during the day, whether it be jealousy, frustration, dealing with sin, encouragement, etc. I hope to find some kind of Bible study with other young women - hard when you've passed the college stage but aren't married yet:P - and have some kind of fellowship weekly:)

BTW, feel free to leave a comment. I just put this URL on my Facebook, so I expect anonymous posts from good friends here soon!!:)
