Done!!

I am officially DONE at the daycare! :) No I won't be burning my required shirts, but I'll think about some other creative use for them. I honestly wasn't expecting today to be my last, but I think it turned out good.

My supervisor came in a few days ago and asked that since I was going to be done on the 20th, I shouldn't need Monday, Tues, and Wed off next week, right? :P I explained that no, I still needed it to sort out things with my folks before moving back in. Well she came into (my *tear*) class today and asked if I just wanted to make today my last day since I was only going to be there Thurs and Fri next week anyway.

During my lunch break, I thought about it, prayed about it, and asked a few people for their opinion. I came to the conclusion that it would be much easier on the kids if I left after today instead of having another teacher for a few days, me, and the teacher again. So I went back, told my supervisor, and just loved on my kids a ton before they got picked up.

I'll definitely miss every one of them: the cusser, the wrestler, the boot-kicker, the shoe-remover, the napless wonder, the hugger, the runner, the newbie, and the sweetheart. I honestly wished I had so much more time with them, and I wrote a note to their parents to tell them so. I talked with my replacement (weird to think about), and she seems like she will be able to control them fairly well and give them the love and attention they deserve (not request;) ).

In other news...
Tonight Sean and I made dinner:) I had wanted to make him enchiladas because it's a really good recipe, but I didn't have time this week to make playdough, let alone 2 days of enchilada cooking! So we made linguini with alfredo sauce and shrimp, with some shrimp and cocktail sauce on the side..... mmmm delicious! After that I took a nice nap while Sean worked before going back here to sleep:)

I'm not sure entirely what's planned for tomorrow. Sean and I have never really celebrated Valentine's day, probably because the 23rd of the month is our half anniversary of dating and we'd rather do something for that :P I know we're having lunch tomorrow, but then he has to work 1-5. After that, who knows? :) I still have to finish his *shhh* gift :D Night!
