Just because I'm changing my blog around some, I decided to change its name. I called it "Mary Heart, Martha World" because of a book that I've barely started to read. Haha, here's the irony: it's called "Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World" and it's about finding intimacy with God throughout our busy days....so far I've read half of the first page. Seems like the perfect book for me, no?
I feel like I'm focusing on people's faults more, criticizing and correcting rather than showing the patience I know exists (somewhere), and gossiping. I HATE this. I miss the closeness I had with God in high school, college. Now I'm in the real world, no homeschool or Christian college to keep me in check.
God's setting me up for tests, and I'm not succeeding so far. Please send encouragement that I may find God's footpath again and strengthen my walk with Him!
